Meetings
The membership of the North Carolina Archaeological Society meets semi-annually at various venues across the state. Meeting programs usually consist of one or more presentations by members or guests of the Society on an archaeological topic of interest to the membership. When possible, outdoor activities such as archaeological site visits or primitive technology demonstrations also are scheduled. The North Carolina Archaeological Council, an organization of professional archaeologists who work in North Carolina, normally holds its semi-annual meetings in conjunction with the Society.
