Scenes from the 2002 Archaeological Field School

The 2002 UNC Archaeological Field School was held from May 21st until June 24th at the Wall site, a late precontact Indian village located along the banks of the Eno River in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The course was taught by RLA staff archaeologists Steve Davis and Brett Riggs, and graduate supervisors Mintcy Maxham, Tony Boudreaux, and Michelle Schohn. The pictures below provide a glimpse of what the 17 students who took the course experienced during the five-week dig.
