Join us for a 2½ day workshop orientation to Intrigue of the Past, a teacher’s activity guide for fourth through eighth grades, and bring Project Archaeology to your classroom in 2004-2005! Cherokee, NC: October 11-12, 2002

The University of North Carolina Research Laboratories of Archaeology and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Cultural Resources Office conduct a Project Archaeology teachers' workshop on October 11-12, 2002 and October 26, 2002 at the Ginger Lynn Welch Tribal Office Complex in Cherokee, NC. Presenters will include: Brett Riggs (archaeologist, UNC) and Russel Townsend (archaeologist, EBCI). The Indian Museum of the Carolinas and the Education Department of St. Andrews College are co-sponsoring PA workshops on September 16 and 28, 2002. The workshops are located at the Indian Museum of the Carolinas and at St. Andrews College. Presenters include Dr. Margaret Houston (archaeologist), Mr. J.C.
